karin_nI am the CEO of Naslund Consulting Group Inc. Thank you for taking an interest us. To understand the passion behind the service, I need to tell you WHY I do it. Simply, I believe in the work of nonprofits. I value the skills of staff and volunteers who consistently exceed expectations while expecting nothing in return. Your satisfaction comes from knowing you have contributed to the well-being of someone in need. Like you, I am driven to make a difference in the lives of others. However, I believe my contribution comes through supporting organizations to succeed. I can help build strong organizations with skilled leaders, engaged staff, and knowledgeable volunteers. Specifically, I want to make a difference through the people doing the work. Over 80% of a nonprofit budget goes toward human resources. My personal experience of over 25 years is that our industry and the people in it don’t receive the recognition and value they deserve. Without question, staff and volunteers are THE most valuable resource of any organization. I dedicate my time to educating, coaching and caring for the people working in nonprofit organizations. Whether it’s a phone call discussing options and frustrations, a training session teaching supervisors, or a planning meeting for boards to focus forward, I am here to help. As long-term leaders retire, you may have a need for interim support and wisdom. I would welcome the opportunity to help guide you through the process. Regardless of your need, my motivation is personal as well as professional. I have learned it, lived it and understand it! “It” being the complex, yet rewarding world of nonprofits.
